130 years of tourism in the Black Forest

The TV series “Black Forest Clinic” - (Schwarzwald Klinik) - brought images of this perfect cosy holiday world to over 40 countries in 17 languages. With around 28 million overnight stays per year in the 138,000 beds of the Black Forest’s hotels and guest houses, and a further 60,000 in private accommodation, tourism is of great importance for the federal state of Baden-Württemberg and the wine regions of the south-west.
