You can choose from more than 170 ski-lifts, 250 kilometres of prepared slopes, 22 ski-jumps, free-ride and powder runs and more than 1700 kilometres of cross-county ski-tracks. With its variety of special offers, the Black Forest is also a winter paradise for snowboarders.
Snowboarding courses are offered for beginners as well as for advanced learners and experts.
Practice your “three-sixty” or “one-eighty” while riding from wall to wall in the half pipe until you are good enough for the slopes. Nicola Thost from Pforzheim might have started like this. The Black Forest girl became Olympic champion on her snowboard in 1998.
