German phono museum - St. Georgen

The German Phono Museum‘s informative collection provides insight into the highly traditional St. Georgen phono industry and the many curiosities in the development of phono technology.

The collection is nearly seamless in the progression from mechanical recording and reproduction since Thomas A. Edison invention in 1877 all the way up to the hi-fi record player in 1985.
