By creatively contrasting the historical environment with modern architecture, the “arthouse” has managed to embody a synthesis between the past and the artistic “now”.
The “arthouse” was built in front of the Church of the Assumption opposite the Augustinian monastic complex in 2004. It won numerous awards for its appealing contemporary architecture.
The “arthouse” is a contemporary art platform. A free creative space where the effects and the uniqueness of art can be experienced first-hand. This tension is kept alive through changing exhibitions.
Combine your visit with a relaxing stay. Enjoy free views of the monastery gardens and the elegant church towers of the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption.
Opening times: Sa, Su 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
